Regular inspection and cleaning. During routine use, the mesh should be checked periodically for broken wires, looseness, leaning, or localized deformation. Additionally, any weeds, soil, or debris adhering to the mesh surface should be cleared away to prevent accumulation, which could lead to uneven stress distribution or accelerated corrosion.
Anti-corrosion maintenance. For galvanized or PVC-coated Dutch mesh, any surface damage or coating loss should be repaired promptly-such as by applying anti-rust paint or replacing damaged sections-to prevent the steel wire from being directly exposed to the air and rusting. This step is particularly crucial in humid or coastal regions.
Structural reinforcement and replacement. If posts, mounting clips, or tensioning mechanisms become loose, they should be tightened or replaced immediately to ensure the stability of the entire fence. In cases of severe localized damage, sections should be replaced rather than merely patched to ensure that the fence's protective effectiveness is not compromised.
