Preparation: Pre-installation inspection; positioning of steel grating panels by zone; temporary securing; deviation measurement; deviation correction; final securing.
Installation Procedure: Accurately mark out positions according to the layout design drawings; position the steel grating panels by zone based on the layout design numbering and install them zone by zone-proceeding to the next area only after completing the current one, and working from the center outwards within each zone; strictly control the spacing between grating panels and between the panels and other structures in accordance with specifications; temporarily secure the panels with installation clips after positioning, then perform final securing after measuring and correcting any deviations; arrange the panels according to the indicated orientation; where panels encounter H-shaped steel columns, cut openings in the grating and install a 100mm (height) × 6mm (thickness) steel plate as a toe plate at the opening.
If the installed steel grating panels do not require future relocation, they may be welded to the supports or steel beams; after welding, remove slag and spatter, and apply two coats of zinc-rich paint by hand.
