Two Parts That Work as One

 

This product is also known as a reinforced 3D vegetation mat system. It consists of two integrated functional layers:

The first layer is a double-twist hexagonal steel wire mesh made from low-carbon steel. The surface is protected using hot-dip galvanization or Galfan coating for enhanced corrosion resistance.

The second layer is a thermally bonded polypropylene 3D erosion control pad. Its open structure exceeds 90% void ratio, allowing soil and roots to interlock naturally.

Common mesh opening sizes include 60×80 mm and 80×100 mm. Steel wire diameter typically ranges from 2.0 mm to 2.7 mm.

The polypropylene 3D pad has a typical mass of approximately 500 g/m² and a thickness of about 12 mm.

This reinforced macmat provides a simple yet highly effective slope protection system.
